More Attractions on Sanya on Hainan



Deer Turning Head Park (Luhuitou Park)
Luhuitou Park is located on high overlooking in Sanya City and provides the visitors with sweeping vistas of the city; it is surrounding area and the South China Sea.
This park is feature a 12 meter tall statue of a brave young hunter and a mountain deer that transformed into a beautiful young girl.
Luhuitou Park is a place for lovers and many people leave a padlock on a chain at the top of the mountain in the hope that their love will last long as the lock remains.
Once this statue has legend, a hunter of the Li nationality tracked a deer to the cliff’s edge. The deer said to have then turned its head and transformed into a girl who become the hunter’s bride. This park is both daytime and nighttime destination and offering spectacular views, shopping and dining facilities.  

Nashan Temple
Nashan Temple is literally means a “South mountain Temple” is a Buddhist Temple that located in Sanya. The temple’s name originates from the popular Buddhist expression.
This is built on April 12, 1988 and has a total area of 40,000 square meter and it is consists several Tang dynasty replicas. This temple is part of an area that known as Nashan Buddhism Cultural Tourism Zone.

Luobi Cave
Luobi Cave is karts cave that under the west face of Yin Ridge and located 7 kilometers north east of Lizhigou Town and 15 kilometers from Sanya City. This literally means of “hanging pen cave”.

Sanya has many attractions to offer in tourist and visitors like the butterfly museum and a shell museum, the Wuzhizhou Island, West Island, Daxiao Dongtian or known as a fairy Cave, The Tiger and Crocodile center.
Sanya also have a five major bays which are; Dadonghai, Sanya, Haitang, Yazhou, and Xiangshuiwan Bay.

Xiangshuiwan Bay is remains the most beautiful and natural that near the famous Nuilin Mountain

The Attractions in Sanya



The Guanyin Statue of Hainan which is 108 meters high or 354 feet Buddhist statue, which is complete in the month of May 2005 and it, is the one of the tallest statues in the world. This statue has three aspects: one side faces inland and the other two faces the South China Sea to represent the blessing and protection by Guan Yin of China and the whole world. This statue is took six years to build and was enshrined ob April 24, 2005 with the participation of 108 eminent monks from the various Buddhist groups in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao and in the Mainland of China. 

Yalong Bay
Yalong Bay is a 7.5 kilometers and a major tourist beach that located in the east of Sanya City. This is also known as the Yalong Bay National Resort.
There are many international operated hotels that have been constructed in Yalong Bay and it is including the Sheraton Sanya Resort, Marriot Hotel, The Ritz-Carlton Resort and the Holiday Inn Resort. There are also several domestic operated hotel like the Resort Horizon, Mangrove tree Hotel, and Cactus Resort that also been constructed in this area.

Tianya Haijiao
Tianya Haijiao is literally means of “edges of the heaven, corners of the sea” this is a popular resort in the southern part of Hainan province. It is located 24 kilometers to the west of Sanya’s municipal region. This venue is considered the south-most point of China’s land area and there is many tourists to come for sight seeing. This place also offer a lot of popular attractions like formation of rocks, which are Rocks of Sun and Moon are two boulders that near hundreds of other uniquely shaped rocks. The Sun refers to Husband and the Moon is refers to Wife but they are separated rocks.
The Southern Heaven Rock is a boulder is near the rock of Sun and Moon with it famous poem of Fan Yun Ti. This place also has a pre historic shell museum. 

Everything about Sanya City


Sanya lies at the southern tip of Hainan Island that located at the 18 degree and 15’N latitude; it is about as far north of the equator as the Island of Hawaii.
The City of Sanya was the first Chinese City that receives the Olympic torch after its departure from Beijing in the 2008 Olympics that in Beijing.
The city of Sanya is generally flat, lying on a parcel of land between low level mountains to the north and the South China Sea. The area has tropical wet and dry climate, that featuring very warm weather all year ground and the monsoonal influences are strong with a relatively lengthy wet season and a pronounced dry season.
Sanya is subdivided into 2 township level districts and six towns.
The townships are; Hexi District and Hedong District
The Towns are; Tianya, Yacheng, Haitangwan, Tiandu, Fenghuang, and Yucai.


Sanya has become a common tourist destination from Hong Kong in the recent years.
There are numerous international hotels chain that established in the area like the first international resort hotel that was opened and managed by Swiss hotelier N.C Solari in 1999 in Yalong Bay.
In 2009 that hotel group of Mandarin Oriental was opened their first property in the mainland Chine in the Dadong Hai area of Sanya.
Because of the geographical and political circumstances unique to Sanya, many niche markets have been cultivated in real estate, food, and beverage management, the Chinese language and cultural exchange, agro-tourism and wilderness adventures is also cultivated.

Sanya City on the beautiful Island Hainan


Sanya City is the southernmost city in China and is part of Hainan Province. The city is renowned for its tropical climate and has emerged as a popular tourist destination, this city also serving as a training site of the Chinese national beach volleyball team.
Sanya is home to small concentrations of Utsul people.
Sanya has an ancient name which is Yazhou, literally means of “cliff state”.
The history of Sanya is can be dated back to the Qin Dynasty that is more than 2,200 years ago, 221 BC-206 BC.
Sanya is sometimes called Tianyahaijiao which is means of “the end of the sky and ocean”.
During the Second Sino-Japanese War, Japan occupied the area from 1941-1945 and Sanya was known as Samah and was the home  port for the Second Fleet of the Imperial Japanese Navy and the main embarkation point for the Japanese Invasion of Malaya and Thailand.
